Services are provided by contractual agreement. Studio and research fees are billed at $100.00 per hour plus materials. Expenses for special presentations involving specific technology, field research and/or travel may be discussed and added to the agreement. Supplemental fees to be determined (TBD) are discussed for individual projects at the time of a contract agreement.

There is no financial obligation to submit a project. Upon review of your kit, I will discuss color design concepts with you by phone. Upon agreement of the direction of the color palette, I will request a 50% deposit. The balance will be due (billed by mail) following your receipt of the color design presentation. Normal delivery time is approximately one to two weeks.

One color palette for a building project typically includes a visualization of the building and a color palette with sample paint chips and associated paint manufacturers color codes.

One color palette for a residential project typically includes a full color plan for each room with wall, ceiling and trim colors, sample paint chips and associated paint manufacturers color codes. Average home of 8 - 10 rooms. Additional fees for larger projects.

Commercial projects of various scale, complexity and interior/exterior treatments can be discussed based on the complexity and requirements of an individual project. Typically a set of plans will be necessary to review for color design planning and to determine design fees.

New palettes for product and industrial design are billed by the hour with a supplement for necessary research, travel, studio materials and requirements of technology and presentation.

Presentation vehicles such as illustrations, presentation boards, printed literature, video and digital presentations are also billed by the hour with supplement for studio materials and requirements of technology.

Books are sold by the author and/or referrals made to the appropriate publisher. The price of the publication plus shipping ($6.00) is the normal charge.

A broad sampling of lecture subjects include color in architecture (design process); history of color and architecture; color and product design; color theory and communication; color and environmental graphic design; color consulting; color forecasting; color and nature; Scandinavian color design; and others. Lecture fees are based on a one hour slide - lecture presentation and do not include additional expenses of consulting, travel, accommodations, meals and ground transportation.

Travel to various offices for discussion of color design strategies are billed based on a broad consulting fee of $100.00 per hour plus expenses.

Short courses of 1-3 days may be arranged with various content on architecture, interiors, product design, color theory, color communication, precedents and design. Lectures and studio problems/projects can be arranged to suit a short course (seminar) or 1-3 days or a longer course. All expenses and a honorarium are discussed and planned in advance with 50% deposit.
