Fine Arts

The following art works have been included to demonstrate the range of public and private commissions by the artist. Linton's works are included in well-known museums, public institutions, corporate and private collections. He has recently been involved in bent-wood technology in the design and construction of fine art wall relief sculptures.

 

Fortunes of Nature

The following images of the construction of a work in progress demonstrate the nature of the sculptural process and methods of working with materials. 'Fortunes of Nature' is a most recent commission/competition from Grand Valley State University, Grand Rapids, Michigan, for the new Richard M. DeVos Center.

Scheduled installation is for summer 2000.

Star of David

'Star of David', 1995 was designed for the ceiling of a new building design for an electronic media library for Temple Israel, West Bloomfield, Michigan. Installation June 1995.
